Freezing Photography!

The sexy lady posing in these pictures is my cousin, Emma. Several weeks ago, she came up with a fun idea to make a calendar (of herself) for her boyfriend Adam who is currently on deployment in Afghanistan. She really wanted to do something nice and surprise him. :) So, last week, while it 38 degrees outside (and SNOWING and RAINING) we decided that it was the perfect day to get started. Despite the near-freezing weather conditions, we jumped in the car and drove about 40 miles to Sauvie's Island nude beach to take the pictures for Adam's calendar. :) By the time we got there, the temperature had already dropped 4 degrees and it was ALMOST freezing but we hopped out of the vehicle anyway, stomped through about 20 mud puddles and found our way down the path that led us to the beach, where we proceeded to take the bikini pics! Lol, NO ONE else was on the beach which was great but it was FREEZING cold out, so after about 15 minutes of Emma's hysterical laughter, hair flipping, and clawing at the sand, she started complaining that she could no longer feel her hands and feet, then began to voice real concerns about potential tissue damage caused by frostbite.... lol :) so we decided to head back to the car. We had a lot of fun and these are some of the pics we got from that day. Surprise Adam!
